This 70,000-square-foot facility is a shining example of cutting-edge architectural design and sustainability, holding the distinction of being the first Silver LEED-certified Lexus dealership in the country.

A Modern Makeover

HDA recently completed a striking exterior renovation for Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis, aligning the dealership with the latest Lexus brand standards. The transformation enhances the dealership’s visual appeal with sleek metal cladding, dark column accents, and a bold new entryway featuring a prominent Lexus logo. This renovation not only enhances the aesthetic but also reinforces Lexus’ commitment to luxury and innovation.

Redefining Automotive Dealership Design

The Mungenast Lexus dealership goes beyond the traditional expectations of a car showroom. Our team designed a space that perfectly balances luxury, efficiency, and environmental responsibility—values that align with the Lexus brand. The showroom features open, welcoming spaces that invite customers to explore the latest Lexus models, while meticulously planned service areas ensure efficiency and convenience.

Sustainability at the Forefront

Earning Silver LEED certification was a critical aspect of this project. This globally recognized sustainability achievement reflects our commitment to environmentally responsible design. The building incorporates energy-efficient systems, sustainable materials, and optimized indoor air quality, reducing operational costs and environmental impact while ensuring a healthier environment for employees and guests.

Built for the Future

Originally designed by HDA in 2009, this facility continues to set the standard for innovation and sustainability. The renovation preserves its key features, including a two-story office and showroom, 32 service bays, a café, and a car wash/detail area. A large curtain wall invites ample natural light into the showroom, creating an inviting and dynamic environment that enhances the customer experience.

A Legacy of Excellence

Construction for this transformation began in late April, with Holland Construction Services serving as the general contractor. Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis is recognized as the only Elite of Lexus Dealership in St. Louis, a distinction it has earned 28 times for its outstanding customer service, operations, sales, and overall excellence. This project aligns seamlessly with the dealership’s dedication to providing an exceptional experience for its customers.
