Modernizing an Established Automotive Destination

HDA is proud to announce the completion of the AutoCenters Nissan renovation project in Herculaneum, Missouri. The 23,000-square-foot automotive dealership renovation focused on enhancing both the customer and employee experience while elevating the functionality and long-term performance of the existing facility.

Designed for the Modern Dealership Experience

The project focused on approximately 8,200 square feet of renovated office, customer-facing, and administrative areas within the dealership’s existing building. Designed to align with Nissan’s modern dealership standards while supporting daily operations, the renovation included selective demolition, interior reconfiguration, upgraded finishes, and building system improvements throughout the space.

The refreshed interior introduces a clean, contemporary aesthetic centered around durability, comfort, and customer experience. Large-format ceramic tile flooring anchors the sales and customer spaces, while carpet tile was incorporated throughout office and administrative areas for warmth and comfort. Updated finishes, including painted walls, beveled-edge acoustical ceiling systems, modern storefront glazing, and new casework, contribute to a cohesive and elevated environment throughout the dealership.

Functionality Built Into Every Detail

A significant component of the project involved reimagining key customer-facing areas, including waiting spaces, offices, and restrooms. HDA carefully integrated improvements within the constraints of the existing structure while enhancing accessibility, plumbing systems, and electrical infrastructure to support the dealership’s updated operational needs.

Exterior improvements also played a major role in the transformation. Existing storefront systems were modified to seamlessly match the renovated building aesthetic while increasing visibility and bringing additional natural light into the interior spaces.
